Abundant living entails trusting that God is actively working for our benefit, regardless of what we may lose, and steadfastly holding onto our faith. It’s crucial to recognize that whatever we may lack, God possesses in abundance. In Him, we find everything essential.

Our perception of God shapes our perception of abundance Jesus is the Word of God, the second person in the Trinity and is God Himself. As the source of life and source of our inspiration, holding on to Him during times we are gloomy or downcast is imperative if we are to circumvent life and it’s intricacies. Colossians 1:27 provides us with inspiration especially in times of uncertainty when human efforts and human hands fail us.

There is a global need for us all to run back to God, to return to the Rock of our Salvation. He will not forsake us, He has never forsaken us. Jesus Christ is the only door to a life of abundance.
In John 10:9, he advertised this Himself when he clearly stated that anyone that enters in through Him SHALL be saved. Life is not a bed of roses, and no matter how much we plan or forecast, there can always be surprises.

The only constant thing in life is Christ. God created us and expects us to have more than is adequate for us. Genesis 1:28 Our bible text refers to the thief coming to steal, to destroy and to kill, in our lives today what stands as a thief that comes to steal, kill and destroy the life we have?

Isaiah 60:1 – 2 says we should arise and shine. God wants us to shine, God wants us to rise above all of life’s vicissitudes. God has given us light. Light brings life, light brings growth. God’s presence is light and He has delivered unto us everything we need to live an abundant life. Darkness is a thief of God’s glory and light. In the midst of darkness, God’s light will bring abundance always. God’s glory in the midst of darkness will make us to shine. When Moses came down from God’s presence, his face was seen to shine reflecting God’s glory. He had to wear a veil to speak to the people of Isreal (Exodus 34:32– 35).

Whenever we feel depressed, whenever we feel downtrodden, let’s come to God. Let us remember he has commanded us to rise and shine. Let us remember His words in Matt 11:28.

God wants us to have abundant powers. Ephesians 3-20 relate is imperative and He shows us that the God factor is all we need to excel in life, the ability to do, the ability to make wealth (Deut. 8:18) with us today as well.

The story of Isaac in Genesis 26 proves to us that God can turn lack to abundance and failure to success, and he can do this for you too. Isaac was a child of covenant, and we have a Covenant too in Christ. Let our hearts hold on to the word of God (Christ) that says we will also live in abundance, and whatever we seem to be going through will only come to pass.

There will be abundance and we will arise and shine. Like Isaac, when others were sowing and were affected by the famine, he sowed and reaped 100 folds. That is God’s plan for you, to live in abundant peace, abundant joy and an abundant life. (To be Continued)
